Biden to speak Oct. 23 at University of Toledo

The vice president will speak at 11 a.m. in the Student Union auditorium

Vice President Joe Biden will speak at the University of Toledo on Tuesday, Oct. 23.

Vice President Joe Biden will visit the University of Toledo at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the Student Union Auditorium.


Tickets will be available beginning tomorrow at 9 a.m. in SU's Trimble Lounge, also known as the South Lounge. If tickets are still available, distribution will continue on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m.


Other locations for ticket distribution include the Obama campaign offices at 3125 Dorr St. and 119 N. Ontario St. Tickets are first-come, first-serve.


Biden is stopping by as part of a three-day political push in Ohio and will discuss the economy, according to the campaign.

I am still bitter! It's hard to feel secure at your workplace when the leader of the institution has such blatant contempt for the people who do all the work! It was great that Ohioans shot down the scheming of Lloyd's buddies in the State House, but Jacobs needs to man up and apologize for trying to undermine all of us.

oh right, like you care about working families. SB5 was about working people getting sick of getting taxed to death so public employees can have it better than everyone else.

I hope Lloyd Jacobs has the wisdom not to show up. After his craven support of Senate Bill 5, he will NOT be welcome among that crowd. Working families know who's on our side.
