While the Rocket offense has started to rally around true freshman quarterback D.J. Lenehan, the defense continues to struggle to stop opposing offenses this season. Lenehan and the offense totaled a season-high 526 yards, including 307 passing yards and 211 rushing yards, but the defense couldn't stop the University at Buffalo's James Starks, who rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns.

The Rockets volleyball team faces a tough challenge as it heads home to Savage Hall this weekend for two Mid-American Conference matches as the only team without a conference victory this season. "I think we've always played well at home," said Head Coach Kent Miller.

The Rockets soccer team's program-high eight-game winning streak ended Sunday with a 1-0 loss to Kent State University. Before Sunday's loss, UT defeated the University at Buffalo 2-1. The Rockets are 10-3-1 overall this season and 5-1 in the MAC after the split weekend.
