The University of Toledo’s women’s golf team tied for fifth place this past week at the University of Hawaii’s Rainbow Wahine Invitational with a score of 28-over-par 892.
Third-year Pinyada Kuvanun led Toledo at 1-under-par 215 and finished in sixth place. This tournament was Kuvanun’s 11th top ten finish in her UT career.
Saranlak Tumfong, second-year, finished at 4-over-par 220 to tie for 14th place.
Three Rockets rounded out the lineup. Pimchanok Kawil, third-year, finished in 42nd place with 13-over-par 229. Finishing directly behind Kawil was Natasha Daengpiem, third-year, who tied for 43rd place. Hannah Kochendoerfer tallied for a tie at 19-over-par 235.
Second-year Donchanok Toburint tied for 50th and Thunpijja Sukkasem, also a second-year, took 59th place.
UT tied with Princeton University for fifth place and finished seven strokes behind the University of Memphis.
The midnight blue and gold golfers will take a break until Feb. 12-13, when they’ll play in the the Battle at Boulder Creek in Las Vegas.
